Thank you to all of you for your love and continuing support of the Aubrey Rose Foundation!
In Aubrey's short life, everything to her was a party whether it was going to church or to the doctors and so whatever we do, we try to make our events (whether fundraisers or friendraisers) the kind of events that you'll be hard pressed to forget! It's so important for people to cherish life and enjoy themselves whether they have a sick child or their life is perfect. Aubrey taught us a valuable lesson - to live life to the fullest and most of all to smile while you're doing it! We know Aubrey would want us to live and so living is what our family is doing.
So with this being said, the biggest party we have coming up is the "Let's Dance for the Heart of It!" We have been working so hard on this special night that celebrates Aubrey's birth date on November 12 and and three short years later, her death date on November 10. We have a wonderful committee of kind, caring and very giving people headed up by Diane Schneider - our good friend who epitomizes the word "giving"! She is leading our charge to raise much needed funds so that we can continue with our Healing the World's Hearts Program, our Holiday Party for the CICU at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and for our continually growing Scholarship Program.
We do have a favor to ask of you. With your continued support, ...we want you to keep Aubrey's Foundation in the back of your mind whenever you come across a family with a medically fragile child who could use the help of the Aubrey Rose Foundation. Even though Aubrey will be gone eight years now, she is still touching people and making them smile through the work of her Foundation.
We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts and double lungs for your time and support for wanting to help make the Aubrey Rose Foundation the answer to many families prayers. Always remember to pray more, play more, and concentrate your time, talents and love to those that you hold near and dear to your heart!Love to you and your family!

in the 1992 Final Four held in Minneapolis, MN.
He
got his start in mortgage lending with Winton Savings & Loan. After
3 years in the Banking environment Anthony jumped into the world of Mortgage

Healing the World's Hearts - Hannah Update
Hannah and Pacita left in the early morning hours of September 14 way before Hurricane Ike's sustained windgusts hit Cincinnati in the afternoon. Hannah went back home a changed child.
She
arrived here with little to no energy, never smiling, never participating
in anything and left here a vivacious, happy and most of all, smiling little
girl who was was learning to love life! Sandra Ali, Channel 5 News, did an
interview with us on that Thursday that showcased the healthy Hannah! The
before and after pictures are amazing as you can see on our website. After
the interview, Pacita just sat there shaking her head in disbelief as Hannah
was running and playing with other children who were living at the Ronald
McDonald House as well. We warned Pacita before Hannah's surgery, that she
will have so much energy afterwards, you won't be able to keep up with her!
It was a rough couple of months with a complicated surgery and a complicated
recovery, but in the end her life was saved. Thanks to the superb skills of
Dr. Eghtesady and his talented staff at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and
to all of you - who without your support and belief in the Aubrey Rose Foundation
- this operation would not have been possible.
We are looking for our next patient for our Healing the World's Hearts Program.
He/She can be from the United States or from around the world. So if you know
of someone who needs open-heart surgery and who does not have the means to
fund such an operation, send us a letter of inquiry at the Aubrey Rose Foundation.
Please tell us about your family and specifically the heart child and what
their diagnosis is and why you would like the Aubrey Rose Foundation to help
you.
The "Healing the World's Hearts" program was developed by Aubrey's Foundation with help from Cincinnati Children's Hospital doctors, surgeons and corporate support to provide "simple" heart procedures to sick children in the U.S. and developing countries around the world. We say "simple" heart procedures because these are surgeries which can be performed in the U.S. that can SAVE A CHILD'S LIFE letting them go back home to live a healthy and productive life without follow-up cardiac procedures.
