What a beautiful memorial to your angel, Aubrey Rose. Our son, Nathan, was diagnosed with Scimitar Syndrome when he was born in 2001. At age five, we flew to Michigan where Dr. Edward Bove performed surgery to correct PAPVR. The surgery was successful and we were thrilled and relieved. Three months later we discovered he had Congenital Kyphosis and would require spinal fusion surgery to prevent paralysis. The surgery was difficult and required him to be in a body cast and then a body brace. He has since recovered and is doing well. We have a website, too (www.NathansPrayer.com).
