Gratitude

Dear Aubrey Rose Foundation:

It is with deep gratitude that once again we write this note of sincere thanks. You have now helped our family out not once, but twice with medical bills. God has blessed us with five beautiful children. Four of these children have had and continue to have major medical issues. As I wrote earlier, the financial burden on top of the stress and worry that goes along with children with medical challenges, has really taken a toll on our family.

We wrote to you this summer, not thinking we would hear anything until September or October. In less than a week, you had already paid several of our bills. And it could not have come at a more perfect time. I think you could have heard our sighs of relief from a mile away!

We will always hold Aubrey Rose and her legacy close to our hearts. As a family we also try to give back with our time and talent. Aubrey Rose helps to keep that at the top of our minds. There is a beautiful song by Nicole Nordeman called “Legacy.” The song says, “I want to leave a legacy. How will they remember me? Did I choose to love?” Even at such a young age, Aubrey Rose chose to love. Thank you for sharing Aubrey Rose’s love with us and with the world. What a wonderful legacy!
