The Aubrey Rose Foundation presented $20,000 to the Children's Hospital Foundation to establish the Aubrey Rose Hollenkamp Fund to provide financial assistance for heart patients at Kosair Children's Hospital. The money was raised through an American Girl Fashion Show.

Aubrey Rose Hollenkamp came into this world on November 12, 1997. She arrived six weeks early and her struggle to live started the moment she was born. Aubrey was born with a very rare heart defect that required her to have her first of five open-heart surgeries when she was just 10 weeks old. Ultimately she required a heart and double lung transplant at 18 months of age. ...Aubrey was born during National Organ Donor Sabbath and also passed away during this same week dedicated to organ donation. This is so fitting because she was a recipient of organs and a donor as well.
